Legacy Open Gym

Legacy Open Gym is the player check-in and team-assignment system for the adult
volleyball open gym run by LEGACY VOLLEYBALL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in Greer, South
Carolina. Players check in on their phone when they arrive, the system builds balanced teams, and each
player is told which court they are playing on.

Our text messaging program
This is a transactional, non-marketing program. We send one thing and one thing only:
the court and team you were assigned to for that night's open gym.
- How you opt in: you scan the QR code at the gym door, which opens our check-in form
at lgcyopen.com. You type your own mobile number. Directly under that field is the disclosure:
"By checking in you agree to receive texts about tonight's session — your court and team at
game time, and a heads-up if a friend requests you. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency
up to 3 per session. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Submitting the form is your consent. Consent is not a condition of playing.
- What you receive: up to three messages per session you attend — your court
assignment (and a round-2 update if teams re-pick), plus at most one notification if another
checked-in player sends you a friend request. E.g.
"Legacy Open Gym: Brayden, you're on Court 3A (Top). Team: Alex R, Jordan M, Casey T. Games start
in 15 min. https://lgcyopen.com Reply STOP to opt out."
- Message frequency: up to three messages per session. Open gym runs roughly twice a week.
- Cost: we don't charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP. To get help, reply HELP or email us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
