The program

Legacy Open Gym is the check-in and team-assignment system for Legacy Volleyball open gym. You check in on your phone when you arrive; the system builds balanced teams and texts you the court you're playing on.

Text messaging terms

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

• What you'll receive: a text telling you your court, side, and teammates for that night's session. Transactional only — we do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
• How you opt in: by entering your mobile number on the check-in form at lgcyopen.com and submitting it. A notice directly below the phone field states that checking in means you agree to receive this text.
• Message frequency: approximately one message per session you attend. Open gym runs about twice a week.
• Cost: we don't charge for the texts, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
• To stop: reply STOP to any message. You'll be unsubscribed immediately and won't receive further texts. You can opt back in by checking in again and re-entering your number.
• For help: reply HELP, or email info@upstatelegacyvb.com.
• Carriers: supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of participating in open gym.

Using the app

Please enter accurate information about yourself — the team-balancing works for everyone only if it's honest. Don't check in on someone else's behalf without their permission, and don't attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the system.

Team assignments

Teams are generated automatically to balance skill and position across courts. Requests to play with a friend are honored when possible but are never guaranteed. Staff may adjust any assignment at their discretion. Assignments are final for the night.

Playing is at your own risk

Volleyball is a physical activity and carries risk of injury. You participate in open gym at your own risk. This app assigns courts; it does not supervise play, and it makes no representation about the safety of any activity at the gym.

Service availability

We aim to keep the system running every open gym night, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. If the app or texts go down, staff will assign courts in person.

Privacy
